Salary:
Salary rate of $40.39/hr (40 hours a week) plus applicable shift premiums
- With Night Shift premiums – $43.10/hr
- With Sunday Shift premiums – $53.50/hr
- Overtime available to fit your schedule
Training & Licenses:
- Upgrade to the requisite C license provided by London Transit
- Upgrade to the requisite Z endorsement is arranged and paid for by London Transit
- London Transit covers the annual renewal costs of all requisite licenses

Requirements:
- 310T Mechanic License (Licensed Truck & Coach Technician)
- G class Ontario Driver’s License (upgrade to C License provided if needed)
- Upgrade to Air Brake (Z) endorsement (training arranged and paid for if needed)
- Related diesel experience (Cummins preferred)
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work afternoon or night shifts – with the movement to days when opportunities arise
(currently filling vacancies in afternoon – 3PM to 11PM and night shifts – 11PM to 7AM)

If a records check reveals a criminal record for which a pardon has not been granted, the candidate will be not proceed in the selection process for further assessment. Following confirmation of minimum requirements, candidates will be invited to participate in an assessment at London Transit. Candidates must successfully achieve the required grade on the assessment in order to proceed further in the recruitment process. Candidates that meet the minimum requirements and achieve the required grade on the related assessment will advance in the recruitment process. Candidates that do not achieve the required grade on the assessment will not be eligible to re-apply until a 1 year waiting period is complete.
