Draft 2025 Service Plan – Proposed Routing Modifications

Routing modification are proposed on Route 10 and a new Route 127 is also proposed for implementation.

Route 10
Routing modifications are proposed to extend route 10 further north on Wonderland Road to Fanshawe Park Road. This will provide a single route serving the majority of the Wonderland Road corridor and connect Route 10 to Masonville Place during all operating periods (currently only serving the mall during limited periods).

The proposed routing would eliminate Route 10 service along Sarnia Road and to Western University. Route 127 (see below) is proposed to be introduced to maintain capacity along Sarnia Road.

Current Route 10 travels from Huron and Barker south on Highbury, west on Commisioners, south on Pond Mills, west on Southdale, south on Adelaide, west on Bradley to White Oaks Mall. From White Oaks north on Wellington, west on Southdale, north on Wonderland, east on Sarnia, to north on Western Rd to Western Campus to Masonville Mall.

Proposed Route 10 changes - Continue north on Wonderland , no longer servicing Western Campus to east on Fanshawe Park Rd to Masonville Mall. Looping at Masonville Mall to heading back west on Fanshawe Park Rd to south on Wonderland back to regular routing.

Route 127
A new Route 127 is proposed to be introduced. It will operate as a short-turn of Route 27 travelling between Western University and the Beaverbrook and Capulet area. The new route will have increased frequency over the current Route 10 service to provide additional capacity along Sarnia Road to Western.
The route will operate during all operating periods on a frequency of between 10 minutes and 30 minutes during the University School year.

New Route 127 is proposed to loop on Western Campus travelling east on Lambton, Middlesex Dr and Elgin Rd to south on Western Rd continuing to west on Sarnia Rd, south on Wonderland Rd and west on Beaverbrook Ave, south on Capulet Lane, east on Oxford to north on Wonderland.
